NOT JUST ANOTHER FAIR

the-solo-project celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2018 with a fresh start at a new park venue. The fair will expand its program significantly to become an event platform.

the-solo-project 2018-edition offers not only high-profile art but also concerts, talks, a shop, daily breakfasts, and evening events as well as a externally curated show.

The centerpiece will still be the fair itself with its 40 to 50 galleries presenting selected artists. The park is meant to turn into an open-air art event — best enjoyed with a drink in your hand.

HOW TO GET INVITED

Galleries are carefully selected with the aim of offering the best international laboratories for the production of contemporary art. Participation is strictly by invitation only.

Please reach out to exhibitor@the-solo-project.com for detailed information on the invitation process.

NINE YEARS OF DEDICATION

the-solo-project was founded in 2008 by Paul Kusseneers, director of Kusseneers Gallery in Brussels. His vision was to  create a sophisticated and engaging new art fair model.

Each presentation at the fair is a solo exhibition, giving collectors, curators, and art lovers a fully immersive experience of artists and their works. The curatorial collaboration with the participating gallery is integral to the concept. Participation is strictly by invitation only.

For nine years, the-solo-project has dedicated its focus to international contemporary art galleries which have demonstrated a keen eye, savvy artistic direction, relevant programming, and most importantly, a commitment to promising and emerging artists.
