SOLO SHOWS BY 50 SELECTED GALLERIES

The-solo-project is now in its fourth year and is bigger and stronger than ever.
The fair has grown to 50 choice international galleries who will showcase works from both well known leading artists and promising newcomers too.

The fair will take place in the voluminous St Jakobshalle and will now occupy the grand main hall.
The hall is easy to reach by public transport and car alike. Tram n° 14 and bus n° 36 stops in front of the hall and there is also a 15 minutes shuttle-bus service to and from Art 42 Basel provided.
Besides the hall there is a spacious parking lot.

The-solo-project began in 2008 and has developed a unique concept of solo and two-person-presentations, giving the artworks more 'room to breath', the artists more room to make a clear presentation and the visitors an environment in which the art can be considered as a body of work rather than as single works.

Again, the-solo-project will create an exciting, welcoming and attractive platform for all dealers to showcase, and for the collectors, critics, journalists and art lovers a more in-depth understanding of the exhibited work. In previous years, collectors appreciated this opportunity to take well-informed decisions and the Solo Project organisers are convinced that every visitor will again enjoy the clearly structured idea and layout of the fair.
